Submission Guidelines
Poetic Journeys invites UConn students, faculty, and staff to submit poems for consideration for publication in our 2023-2024 series.
The deadline for submissions is Monday, January 8, 2024.
The poems that work best for Poetic Journeys are short—no longer than eight lines. If you would like to submit a longer poem, you may suggest an excerpt that stands on its own by highlighting the lines within the Word document.
Submissions may be emailed as Word documents to: sophia.buckner@uconn.edu with "Poetic Journeys" in the subject line.
You may submit up to three poems. Please be sure to include the following information for each poet:
—Full name
—University affiliation
—Contact info (address, phone)
—Email address
Winners will be announced for the spring semester 2024.
