Submission Guidelines
Poetic Journeys invites UConn students, faculty, and staff to submit poems for consideration for publication in our 2026–2027 series.
The deadline for 2026–2027 submissions will be Thursday, October 1, 2026.
The poems that work best for Poetic Journeys are short—no longer than eight lines. If you would like to submit a longer poem, you may suggest an excerpt that stands on its own by highlighting the lines within the Word document.
Submissions may uploaded through this form.
You may submit up to three poems.
If you are submitting someone else's work, please be sure to include the following information for each poet in each document:
—Full name
—University affiliation
—Contact info (address, phone)
—Email address
Winners will be announced late in the fall semester of 2026.
